Every Child Deserves a Family Act (S. 1770), which would prohibit any entity that receives federal assistance and is involved in adoption or foster care placements from discriminating against prospective adoptive or foster parents solely on the basis of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or marital status. One major goal of the legislation is to increase the number of foster and adoptive placements available to children in the foster care system. Currently there are an estimated 400,000 children in the U.S. foster care system, and more than 107,000 children currently waiting to be adopted, but Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT) couples or individuals who want to adopt or become foster parents still face discrimination in more than 30 states. In announcing the introduction of the Every Child Deserves a Family Act, Gillibrand stated, “By removing all barriers for LGBT families to serve as foster parents, New York State has increased its foster parent pool by 128,000 prospective parents. This legislation would open thousands of new foster and adoptive homes to children ensuring they are raised in loving families.” The house companion bill, H.R. 1681 was introduced by Representative Pete Stark (D-CA), back in May.
American Family Rights Association (http://familyrights.us) strongly OPPOSES this Orwellian-named bill. The family every child deserves is their OWN biological family or kin. The law about Kinship placement [42 U.S.C. § 671(a)19)] has been absolutely gutted from it's original content to the point now that merely suggests CPS "consider" Kinship placement. There's no money in Kinship placement for CPS, so guess what CPS' first choice is? With CPS wrongly removing so many kids from their homes (in violation of the children's Fourth Amendment Right), placing children in residences with homosexuals is now viewed as necessary? |

| Some of us read the Declaration
of Independence of 1776, and we observe that THE SAME TYRANNY is back-
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the Tenure of their Offices, and the Amount and Payment of their Salaries. He has erected a Multitude of new Offices, and sent hither Swarms of Officers to harrass our People, and eat out their Substance. ....He has combined with others to subject us to a Jurisdiction foreign to our Constitution ....For depriving us, in many Cases, of the Benefits of Trial by Jury: ....to be tried for pretended Offences: ....waging War against us. ....destroyed the Lives of our People. In fact, the tyranny may be worse NOW than it was in 1776. |
![]() March 11, 2011 Dear Champion of Parental Rights, Yesterday afternoon in the U.S. Senate, Senator Jim DeMint (R-SC) introduced SR 99, a resolution opposing ratification of the United Nations’ Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC). Joining him are 28 original cosponsors, and two more Senators signed up with his office last night. This means SR 99 already has 31 of the 34 senators needed to prevent ratification of this dangerous treaty for the rest of this Congress FULL STORY |

October 16, 2009 Family Rights Examiner Leonard Henderson Last year, I was cleaning up my computer desktop. One item I came across was a poignant photo of a FLDS girl alone on a bus waving goodbye to her home and the life she knew. As I was looking at this image, it struck me that- This IS a photo of the "Best Interest of the Child". And then it struck me- This is a NEW Civil Right That is, the child has the "right" to have her life decisions made for her by government. HER "BEST INTEREST" CIVIL RIGHT. FULL STORY I am saying that the Convention on the Rights of the Child has been supplanted into law by CAPTA and subsequent legislation and already DE FACTO enforced unconstitutionally and malfeasantly by a terrorist CPS agency and those who collude with them taking their Modus Operandi from the Nazi SS, enforced by the totally unconstitutional Family Courts. |
