Family Rights and Who is Leonard Henderson? Meet the Family! August 3, 2002 Is it all "Coming to a head"? I subscribe to several online freedom/ liberty/ family rights/ discussion groups and receive perhaps 500 emails a day. The tone is becoming more terrified, desperate, suspicious, and cynical. The threats presented by government incursion into our lives becomes ever more ominous. The "War on Terror" daily turns inward against the citizens of the United States. Those of us who have already had our lives destroyed by false allegations by CPS, really look suspiciously at "Homeland Security" plans such as the "Operation TIPS" program. Anything where an accusation is prosecuted as FACT is going to quickly get "out of control".
Almost daily, we hear some pundit discussing some new government plan for our "Safety" rhetorically ask: "Will this bring us one step closer to a Police State"? Well what IS a police state?
The United States of America has been a police state since 1974, (if not since 1861, 1913, 1933 or other dates when big chunks of American Liberty disappeared). We were pretty suspicious on November 21, 1963 when JFK was assassinated. We were even more suspicious at the unbelievable "Magic Bullet" theory the Warren Commission put out. We have to wait until the year 2029 to find out what we knew to begin with- We were lied to. Who would want the records kept secret? A month or so after the JFK assassination, somebody observed: "Hey where did all the Silver Certificate money go?" During the national mourning, the Silver Certificate money was replaced with "Federal Reserve Note" fiat money. No reason to suspect anything. After that, everybody who gained national stature who questioned the government ended up with bullets in their heads. No reason to be suspicious. The Vietnam War was the death knell of American Liberty. The draft dodgers who escaped Nam or prison were the ones who seized the mantle of honor for opposing the war. They started taking over in the early 1970's and by 1974, vast new bureaucracies sprang up to employ the New Class. I knew some of the old American Liberty before the 70's. Even back then, the bureaucrats were plainly telling us everything they intended to implement by the 1990's- and they have. I remember my own thoughts back in the 70's: "Man if they do that, this country will sure suck". They did and it does. There is no semblance between then and now. Apologists for the current state recite: "The Land of the Free and The Home of the Brave is Still the Greatest Nation on earth!" and pretend that it is not a police state, since the "progress" is not yet complete. After all, people are still able to move about somewhat and you might say what you want to (sort of). Well, we are pretty well done moving about freely, aren't we? And we are being awfully careful how we say things, aren't we? As soon as they get the "Hate Crimes" legislation ramrodded through, there isn't going to be much that's "fair game" to talk about, is there? Secret Police- "Suicide by Cop" is becoming every more popular, as well as being killed while "Fleeing or Resisting Arrest". Let us not forget about "The Furtive Move". Has anybody gotten "justice" in court lately? With the highest per capita imprisonment rate in the WORLD, we are remarkably UNFREE. The prisons are full of people who were created criminals (see The Safety Valve is Wired SHUT!) by criminalizing just about everyone and everything, and using false allegations, false arrest, false prosecution, and false imprisonment for IMAGINARY CRIMES. We are used to being LIED TO. We joke about politicians lying. Just about every road trip we take, we run into a small town "Bubba" in a cop suit who scribbles some bogus thing on a Goldenrod colored piece of paper. We mail a check when we get home. It's the cheapest thing to do. At least, "Bubba" didn't pull his gun this time. We are completely acclimated to injustice and corruption and NO CONSTITUTIONAL DUE PROCESS. We are the "frogs in the pan" and the temperature is nearing "well done". No, not much uncertainty left to the police state question. Does anybody remember what the phrase "Spirit of 76" meant?
