Meet the Family! 2-25-03 New Age Politically Correct 'Critical Thinking Skills I have always been an 'independent thinker" and "out of sync" with the mainstream "democratic massthink". It only takes me a few seconds to say what I have to say, which I can BACK UP WITH THE FACTS because I have already done the research and show the references. The rest of the 'discussion' comes from a new age PC type whose only point is that 'YOU CAN'T FEEL THAT WAY!" Usually, the protestations are inserted before I can even finish my short sentence, and every sentence I try to utter thereafter is interrupted mid-sentence. They aren't the least bit interested in learning anything because they already "know it all" and don't want to be confused with facts. So they listen only to find something to refute. Every sentence of the new-ager begins with "I FEEL", "In MY OPINION", or "I THINK". This is the New Age PC 'Critical Thinking Skills' learned in government schools in action. So much for Freedom of Speech, debate, and independent thinking.
