Family Rights and Who is Leonard Henderson? Meet the Family! 5-11-09 The Lost Concept of REDEMPTION We live in a mean society. Your neighbors are mean. Other drivers on the road are mean. The people in the grocery stores are mean. The "professionals" are mean. The cops are mean. The doctors and nurses are mean. The school teachers are mean. If you go to church, the people are mean, and maybe even the pastor is mean. Women have been trained for 40 years now to be mean (It's called "self assertion"). Kids are being trained by their peers and television to be mean (It's called "self esteem"). The popular "entertainments" are mean. Even the comedians are vulgar and mean. It's "funny". We are being fed meanness 24 hours a day. So what happens to the placid, easy-going types? They get eaten for breakfast by the mean people. So everybody has to learn how to be mean in order to survive in this mean world. We live in a society of lies and liars. Pretenders and phonies. Evil is being called Good, and Good is being called Evil. Evil is all this society thinks about. Continuously. Nowhere is this meanness more pervasive than in government. I think I heard somewhere that there are 36,000 new laws being dreamed up every year in the United States. It's called government by coercion. The assumption is that nobody can manage their own lives and affairs. Government will do it for them by threat of force. There's no longer such thing as "self control". It's "Don't do that or we will hurt you". Government employees are caught up in the agency culture that they are somehow self-sacrificing "public servants" and they are supposed to "regret" all the great money they could be making "in the private sector" that they imagine they are qualified to do. So we had better, by gawd, respect their authority. Or suffer the consequences. Just plain mean. They have to justify their existence, so if that involves dragging you into their meat grinder, that's their job. And it matters not if they lie to do it. Predators and Prey There is no such thing as "owning" anything now. If you work hard and make you own way, the government is right there to take it away from you. You don't really own your home. You don't really own your car. You certainly don't own your kids and nobody has to listen to you. But whatever they do, you pay for it, and what's more it's YOUR FAULT. You don't have the right to have your own thoughts or opinions. There's always somebody to tell you, "You can't do that, say that, feel that way". Cops stop you and write whatever they want to on a "goldenrod" piece of paper. It's "gospel truth". Anything you say is a lie and saying nothing at all will be used against you too. Anybody can accuse you of anything at any time. The more psychotic and nasty they are in assassinating your character, the more they are believed. The accusation is the proof in this urine-drenched society. All sorts of Lists are being made. Find yourself unfavorably on a List, and you can't get a job, a house, a car, a loan, or even travel. There's no way to get off a list. Nothing is being cleaned up or fixed. The garbage pile gets bigger and bigger. Find yourself accused of a crime, and your life is toast. I am amazed at people who finally come up for parole, and they are supposed to show how they already have a job and a place to live if they get out. There's no jobs or places to live for people even without prison records. Really, there is no such thing as "Paying a debt to society". It's forever. THERE'S NO REDEMPTION any more. The idea of redemption is to have a "fresh, clean start". Start over. Shed the past. Be forgiven. Fix something that is broken so it is usable. Restitution of what was stolen. Apology for wrong-doing. Be given another chance, especially with the knowledge you obtained from your previous experiences. That's what bankruptcy used to be. If you did something dumb, or bad and got punished for it, the assumption was you could be "rehabilitated" and worth another shot at life as a free man. People have Consciences, they feel guilty and dirty. They are plagued by their past deeds. Some people are so troubled by their past that they become obsessed or even mentally ill about it. Of course, if past deeds left them with a forever venereal disease or brain damage, that IS a plague that has to be lived with. Tattoos can be removed. Body piercings can heal shut. Even a retarded split tongue can be sewed back together. But guilt is different. Man's solution is drugs and alcohol. Which doesn't fix anything. You can't run or hide from your own internalized guilt. Maybe nobody else even knows what you have really done. Redemption is what differentiates Christianity from all religion. It's quick and easy. You say "I am sorry God for my sins". Jesus Christ died for your sins so you don't have to. He already took them to Hell for you. Cast your cares on Him and walk away from it. You don't even have to get "religious" about it. Try to have learned from your mistakes and not do it again. Have a fresh, clean start in a mean world. Every day. I am in the Redemption business. Helping people save themselves from their own stupid actions and the stupid, evil actions of others. It isn't religion. It's EDUCATION. It's my Father's business. Hosea 4:6- My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.
